Performance and Engine
The Impreza’s 2.0-liter DOHC engine produces 152 horsepower and 145 pounds-feet of torque. You can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT) for certain models. All trims have symmetrical all-wheel drives, which improves handling and control in all weather conditions. While inline start assist is standard on all trims, only certain trims have active torque vectoring which makes the car turn sharper.
There are two options for interior colors in the Impreza. The first is all-black with silver highlights. The second is a two-tone design with light beige accents and doors panels. The interior design is modern and simple. It is easy to find what you are looking for with the gauges and controls located exactly where you expect them to be. The front seats are comfortable with extra padding on the sides. This will help you to travel comfortably. The seats in the rear are more flat, but the cushioning is sufficient to make shorter trips comfortable. For taller adults, the back seat legroom is limited. The sedan’s cargo space is average for its class. However, the hatchback offers more utility and space. The Subaru infotainment system can be used in a fairly simple way. Although it won’t be as intuitive as your smartphone, it is still one of the best mainstream interfaces available today.
